Google applications
The main thing that I enjoy with google applications is all of the variations that can be utilized. If a person was a geography teacher, they would be able use google earth as a way to show the students different parts of the US and the world. Any person could have the students use the google docs application to have students write their papers and create power point presentations and all they would have to do is e-mail them to you. It also saves on the use of paper. There are so many other things that google can do that we haven't even touched on. I believe that I will be using this application in my teachings in the near future.

I agree with you about the saving paper thing. As a first year teacher I'm horrified at the amount of paper we go through!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn more about other tools that Google has to offer. So far they've all be useful!
P.S.-Your text is really tiny. It kind of hurts my eyes! :)
I also see huge potential for the use of various Google applications in the classroom. After viewing and working with several of them, I think they can be tailored to almost any classroom, age group or subject area- I don't really see any limits!
